2003 Mustang GT vs 1998 Corvette LS1

1) In the first video I didnt know my buddy(neighbor) in his vette wanted to cut over into the lane next to me before we raced so I went then slowed down, then we lined up again and you really have to listen for the horn honks and you see the jump I get on him by about one length, BUT the reason he falls hella far behind is cause there was another car in his way so by NO WAY IS A GT SMOKING A VETTE BY 10 LENGTHS LOL.

Even though I lost I told my friend "Its an honor to just keep ahead of that LS1 for 3-seconds so i left the race happy even though I lost all three but I was expecting it lol.

i know that wasnt a race but im curious to why the vette looses soo nmuch power to the wheels ..im just asking and whats do they have now adays....last time i saw under the hod they had a 350ci small block

Learn to read descriptions.. the poster even said it wasn't a real race. the 3 races they actually did have resulted in the vette winning easily..

@123jozef Stock LS1 Vettes put about 290 plus to the wheels. They are 350 at the crank. Also, stock Vettes hook up just fine in comp mode. ;)

A stock Vette like that may only be putting out around 230 - 260 to the rear wheels. A Z06 (rated at 405) is going to possibly put out 340 stock. It all depends on the gears you are racing in. From a dead stop is going to be a completely different story. A stock Vette can't hook up at all. Nothing but a slippery, sliding mess. Look at all the vids on Youtube where these Vettes end up on a hillside or off in the dirt somewhere. Been there, did that.

@puppi350 hell an LT1 vette would rape him still....this video was such crap. the vette starts to get on it but has a car going like 40mph in his lane so he had to slow down which is why the stang even saw the side of the vette again..
