Track day - Lotus Elise chasing Toyota MR2 V6 at Colerne

A few laps chasing my mate Mike in his 3.0 V6 MR2. Managed to close the gaps through the bends but just had to surrender to Mikes torque and BHP advantage on the straights either side of the hairpin (Elise - 118bhp, MR2 - 200bhp). Also had mate Gritter as on board success ballast calmly taking photos of Mike's rear end on the way round! Cracking day for last track day of 2008.

Having a passenger in the elise probably added like 3 seconds to the track time LOL!!

Good job! had a little spin myself but at a very unexciting speed, due over-experimentation with tyre pressures! Come say 'Hi' on the next MSE track day - maybe give me a ride in an Elise with some oomph?!

118bhp and a passenger, you didn't give yourself much chance did you?! Good fun though. Was there in my 111R recently. Managed 70mph backwards on the straight! (Ooops)
