The other Ur-Quan subspecies is the Kohr-Ah. They also tell their story if you use The Words.
The Kohr-Ah were voiced by David Bryce.

  • Take some notes; this is how you give a bad-ass lifeform a bad-ass voice with bad-ass synthesis.

  • Agreed, voice is awesome. This is one part where modern games failed. Epic Fail

  • @fumanchu168 It is. The guys from the company confirmed it.

  • one eye creature, Mael-num

    one eye creature, Melnorme

    It couldn't be, could it?

  • gotta love that snowflake button

  • @MrILOVEBEINGPURPLE That would be terrifying. lol

  • Once one of the great sentient beings they were corrupted by slavery and torture. Their ultimate form of self-defense is enslaving and ethnically cleansing the universe. In the end both the Kzer-Za and Kohr-Ah races are annihilated. The Ur-Quan are the ultimate victims in a tragic saga.

  • I bet the reapers killed off the Kohr-Ah and made a Kohr-Ah reaper (soverign). lol

  • @Juff0Wup mass effect reaper is basically this, same voice too! lol its like the real star control 3

  • @Juff0Wup The Kadeshi and Captain Elson from Homeworld had similar voice post-processing. it actually isn't that complicated. where modern games tend to fail is in giving those voices something to say.

  • ... "I grow tired of talking, alien, and your time grows short."

    Spoken like true badasses.

    @Maridianokusho

    The Kohr-Ah aren't complete monsters, they do want to explain why they do what they do. Without the talking pets, they would be unable to. Sort of a way of saying "Sorry you have to die."

    I would guess that would they have somehow succeeded in their goal of wiping out every single living sentient thing to their satisfaction, they would have turned on their Dnyarri afterwards.
