It's not a UFO. It is more likely a piece of debris from the explosion. Give up with the UFOs already! It's been proven as to what REALLY caused the explosion!

@YaHuWaHisHisName That's BS, man. It was clearly the fault of the right booster rocket and the O rings that seal in the propellant fuel. The shuttle hit a very strong headwind, as is evident by a commercial jet that hit that same headwind 1/2 hour before launch. This caused a metal additive to the fuel to break loose, allowing the fuel to exit the booster and causing the larger tank connected to the shuttle to explode. There is very clear footage of this, and clearer footage of the parachute

@BBT609 You are correct. The booster rockets survived, but the large tank is what ultimately exploded, breaking up the shuttle. The shot here is of one of the booster rockets falling via parachute. You can see that it's directly under the where it's jet stream ends. It isn't a UFO; but of course, some people need a conspiracy.

It's not a UFO, it's a booster rocket falling via parachute. This is well known, and there is clearer footage of this elsewhere. The cause of the disaster is well known as well. No need to speculate about UFOs.

apparently a spy program liftoff, columbia... soviet cosmospheres apparently "beamed" the sucker during liftoff... if i recal the story correctly. there were columbia doubles as well that had to be landed to emulate landings in the USA as the originals that would get "beamed" down whenever they'd get over soviet territory. apparently.
there were many doubles of LASSIE too...
