This update: We talk about the two most hated bills in America (to most people), SOPA & PIPA. My stances on the bills and my stances on piracy.

@WaddlerD omg thats horrible i would hate to see you and many other awesome entertainers of the lping community such as chugga ncs and mk404 suddenly disappear just cause the people we chose to represent us decided that these bills are whats right for this country and i hope they do not pass and if they do i hope obama can talk some sense into them i would say what i really think about congress but i think everyone knows how i feel about them because they have the same thought as i do

@gameslayerknight That might be the case, no more videos from me or other popular LPers may very well occur, it's a stupidly broad bill that just kills the internet because of what it does.

If a 4 hour game didn't cost €60 I wouldn't pirate. If anime DVDs weren't utter shit qua quality and subtitles, sometimes encoding errors and translation errors; I wouldn't pirate. If Nintendo didn't fuck me over with a region lock on my consoles, I wouldn't pirate. If manga didn't take about 500 years to get licensed or even promoted in other parts of the world; I wouldnt translate / pirate them. If DVDs of old series that never got DVD'd I wouldn't pirate. IN short: Piracy is sometimes THE WAY

I would say that NDAA is waaay crappier for all violations against basic human rights, but then again, PIPA and SOPA does suck ass too.

All we can do is hope. Passing these laws would just ruin the lifes of millions of people. Everyone needs to be able to use the internet to find what they need. I mean wikipidia is down for today. The goverment just want's to take controll of everything. they want to hide anything and everything from us.

I know there was a bill that had something to do with video games and SOPA pretty much surpasses that bill.

I actually don't like SOPA and there is a game that pretty much fits in this... topic.

I read there's a lot of support from the music and film industry. They obviously are in it for the money but I wonder if they're capable of seeing the other aftereffects that these bills will have on them.

I'm just surprised as hell that these things still stand. Do we really need the world's support just to say "Veto"? I know I'd certainly be upset to see all my favorite LPers disappear all of a sudden.
