  • ahh could i use waxed dental floss?

  • @wbequet yes you cold as long as it fits in the eye. I find that it will tangle and not on me a little more for some reason.

    Its tangling because dental floss is wound extremely tightly on the spool. This gives it a bit of "memory" so when you spool a bunch out it tries to get all coily.

    Dental floss is extremely similar to the fibers used to make modern archery bow string (Dacron/Waxed) It is a rather strong fiber, but in the dental format the fibers aren't wound, they are just laid together and waxed.
