Heroes - Bob Boyle

Another original song that wasn't quite ready for Canada Day as I had hoped. But here it is. Dedicated to all the brave veterans of conflicts past and present who put themselves in harms way to protect our freedoms.
It is very humbling that someone in my generation now is obliged to go to a much younger individual and thank them for their service. That's one reason this song was written. That being said, I should add that my generation was born into the luxury of a peace that was paid for with the blood of our fathers. Now that there are fewer veterans of WW2 with us, the words of Winston Churchill ring even truer. "Never before in the field of human conflict, was so much, owed by so many, to so few." That's the other reason this song was written.
