I wonder if the gas produced from human waste could be harnessed, and used just like natural gas? Human waste, more commonly known as "poop", is flammable.

T Boon's picking up from where the accounting challenged, but genius energy visionary Ken "Kenny Boy" Lay, of "Enron" notoriety, left off. i predict the state of Texas will become in the future another virtual Saudi Arabia of energy sources, even surpassing Alaska in importance for America's future prosperity. Texans are smart and don't spend their lives talking problems to death, they just solve them.

natural gas has been less expensive than liquid petroleum gas for at least 30 years, though both are relatively clean burning in vehicles. i hope infrstructure gets vastly increased to pipeline the n. gas instead of doing any upgrades to petroleum transportation uses. the peak oil problem believe me, is real and petrol is gonna zoom nowhere by up and probably soon. i'd convert every car and truck i own to electric tomorrow if i had the dough.

I live in the "country,' so have to buy the more expensive propane (LPG-liquid petroleum gas) to fill a big tank on the property, rather than having the less expensive, amortized per month, natural gas Pickens champions. Untill renewable electricity replaces ALL fossil fuels, except for space travel and certain military applications, natural gas is a must-have for the US to remain prosperous and peace-loving.
