Climate Change Discussion on Rogers TV Talk Ottawa hosted by Mark Sutcliffe. Guests on the show include Greenpeace Canada's Christy Ferguson, past Executive Director of the Sierra Club Stephen Hazell, Carlton University Professor Simon Dalby, and the founder of One Change Stuart Hickox. The group discusses the recent Greenpeace protest demonstrations on Parliament Hill and whether or not it is an effective way to mobilize people to take action on climate change. They also discuss Canada's position on climate change as well as the importance of getting individuals to feel empowered to believe that their simple actions matter when it comes to bigger environmental issues like climate change.

  • How arrogant are these people? To think that we can control the Earths temp is just not intellegent thinking. CO2 has been proven to not be the leading cause of climate change, its the SUN. Always has been, always will be. taxing one of the staples of life on Earth leads to absolute power, over all life on Earth. Does that sound GOOD? The Earth is fine been here 4.5 billion years, be here long after we are gone, to think we can control it is ARROGANT.
