Glad to see you getting into this up to your elbows!
You're right that mushrooms don't live in a sterile environment naturally. Quite the contrary. But we're creating a artificial indoor environment where the mushroom, virtually all alone in this rich substrate, will grow much faster than in a log in the wild. Unfortunately bad stuff like molds can also flourish in it, hence the sanitation.

OK, Two more things:
You added the spawn before the water (if I follow the video correctly), which is backwards. That exposes the spawn to concentrated peroxide, which can kill it. When I mess up this way the bags turn green and die. I gather you had better luck.
If your logs in the bag were partly rotted, it will reduce the chance of success because that means competitor fungi have already taken hold (only fungi can rot wood). Good for you for giving it a shot, though!

@OwenTallman You a correct Owen H2O first than THE FUNGUS AMOUNG US... Dosn't seems to be a problem yet.. new vid to show progress comming in the next day or so..
