John Trudell Part One

John Trudell said once in front of a classroom where I sat, and I paraphrase, 'If you are a Christian, then give up your goodies, give all of your possessions--I'll take them--and then, with no shoes, walk the Earth, 'cause that's what Jesus said his followers should to do. I'll listen to Christians when they start listening to Jesus.' Maybe I just heard John wrong, and if so, then these are my own words I imagined coming from his mouth as usual.

Roman Emperor Constantine I saw to unite all who were under the Roman yoke. He ordered the male religious leaders (called presbyters) to "mount their horses, asses, and mules available for the public use and travel with their testimonies and scrolls to Nicaea" (Roman provinve in Turkey).
