Pillsbury Law Partner Michelle Hallsten Speaks at SARTA.org Liquidity Event

At a recent benefit for Sacramento-area non-profit organizations interested in promoting entrepreneurship, local attorney Michelle Hallsten of Pillsbury Law spoke with OBSNews correspondent Patrick McGilvray about her practice, her firm, and some of the resources available to startup business in the Sacramento region.

Hallsten is the local practice section leader for the coroporate and securities law group at Pillsbury. In that capacity, she works with a number of large and startup companies. Particularly for emerging companies she assists with issues ranging from employment law, litigation, real estate law, and intellectual property law.

For newer companies, especially technology startups, she performs a lot of work getting corporate organizational documents polished and finished. She also indicated that her firm helps their client companies to raise funds from private angel investors and angel groups, venture capitalists, and private equity funds.
