Blind Cricket is not different from the mainstream cricket. Many changes in the Cricket rules have been made, so that blind people also can play and enjoy the game. The rules of blind cricket are based on the standard Laws of Cricket with essential modifications.
The bat is the same as a normal cricket bat, but since, blind cricket is based on sound; hard plastic balls containing ball bearings are used that make sound when the ball is in play.
The bowling style is under arm. The delivery is required to pitch at least twice when bowled to a completely blind batsman and once when bowled to a partially sighted batsman, but it must not be rolling. The bowler must shout "Play!" as he releases the ball.
