  • Both fighter are giving and taking punches and yet the announcers keep saying Duran is hurt!! It's obvious they have a predisposition on who they want to win this fight. Great fight from 2 great fighters in their

    absolute prime!!!

  • @ttshiroma not sure duran was in his prime ,his prime was lightweight :)

  • That is the dumbest thing anyone has said about this fight, Leonard never had the power to hurt Duran, NEVER. If anyone has been hurt in this fight, it wasn't Duran, it was Leonard, there's no question and trying to prove me wrong obviously means you are watching the wrong fight

  • commentators were on Leonard's side. This was Duran's round. He hurt Leonard and had HIM going. Leonard was fighting on pure instinct here. Watch Duran return to his corner. Hurt? Ha!

  • @hyenachase, Duran was head and shoulders above all lightweights. Though there were many great fighters at that wt class during that time, Duran was special.

He could've tacked on a super light wt. And jr welter wt. titles but instead went strait for the best at welterweight which was Leonard.

I believe this brought out the best in Duran, whom I had way ahead on my score card. 2 great fighters no doubt!!

  • @JackyZProductions You make some crazy accusations. I never said Leonard's punches didn't hurt, they just didn't make much of an impact on Duran. I actually have been in the ring before, 3-1 in amateur boxing, 8-0 in amateur muay thai, 5-2 in amateur MMA, and a certified muay thai instructor. I ain't the best and I probably will never be, but I know fighting, you punk ass. And I'm not fat either bitch, I'm done with you and done with your stupid argument. Eat a dick, bitch.

  • @JackyZProductions Way to comment on something I said over a year ago. I do respect both fighters? Leonard has some serious heart and toughness, but if anyone's legs were wobbled in the fight, it were Leonard's, not Duran's.

  • @makunouchi3 are you just stubborn or are you just a dumbass? respect both of the fighters for giving us such an amazing fight. these people worked so hard to come out to this fight. and i am pretty sure your just a moron because Leonards punches definitely hurt. If you ever did boxing, which i doubt, ur prob just a fatass loser sitting at home criticizing people, anyways you try not to show you are hurt. Duran dominated the fight, but in numerous cases he was hurt by Leonards punches.

  • @makunouchi3 Leonard hurt Duran twice in their two fights. He hit him with a double uppercut earlier in this fight that stunned Duran for a few seconds, but nothing serious. In fight 2, he landed a bomb to the body that sounded like an M-80. After that, Duran was done, and had to quit a few rounds later. It took all the life out of him.

He wasn't hurt in the 13th, he was just taking a beating to the body and was exhausted. He wasn't stunned at all.

  • what really irritates me is when these announcers try to say what a fighter is feeling or thinking, they have no way of knowing if that fighter is feeling or thinking something.

  • no one fights like this anymore. this was when boxers actually went at it.
