Starship Patrol (DSiWare) level 13 strategy

Level 13 - Spectre Invasion isn't an easy level because you have such a short range of effective weapons. You can use the mines to reveal the enemy ships to the remaining weapons, but that's a costly and uneffective solution. My suggestion is to use only the Scan Laser weapon and research the Black Hole weapon. Since scan lasers are cheap, it will be easy to build up to 3 black holes in the middle, covering every path. The video shows the results on the hardest wave. I find it very easy to get a Perfect with this strategy!

You can also use mine fields - if a invisible enemy is hit by a mine, it becomes visible for a few seconds. Put a powered up rocket launcher next to it and it will work wonders. PLUS: The explosion of rockets also does damage to nearby invisible foes.
