The Muzio Gambit is an extremely aggressive variation in the king's gambit that looks to give up an early pawn and knight in exchange for an extremely aggressive attack on the black king. With so much focused on the f7 square, black has to play precise to hold a chance against all the traps white can lay out.
The computer is continuously checking my king with it's kingside bishop is I can't seem to find a defense which works with this style gambit

Hi i'm trying to learn chess and i have a question, why does white have to move knight to c3 at 9:04 , and not directly move bishop to d4?

I love the King's Gmabit! I'm a mainly 1.d4 player, I love positional chess, my only opening in my repertoire that starts 1.e4 is the KG - I've never played the muzio/double muzio but I'm deffo gonna try this out online before playing it in my club games or tournaments!! Wickid vid!! :)

@FromMuToYou I didnt say you said that. I'm saying Kevin was wrong about black being forced to lose his queen.

@mopbrothers
I never said he would lose his queen. All it does is let white move g3 without a loss in tempo.

I'm practising the King's Gambit heavily and I really enjoyed this line and the explanations. Nice work, I'll give it a try!
