You know when you here your recorded voice it sounds so different. Usually worse than your internal perception of it. I think that there is a cultural parrael. Speakers with a common accent never hear thmselves as outsiders hear them. To my ear the Scotish accent used in this video sounds really close to Bill Connolly's accent. Maby a little broader. But close.

Nobody in Scotland speaks like that. It's the most unattractive accent ever. Even Glaswegians have better accents than this.
