My son with his very first legend car practice. Seemed to be really smooth. He cant wait to get back in the seat again. Thanks Roger @ www.AustinLegends.com for the opportunity and good job Brandon!
If Im not mistaken this is at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas VA. I used to race Mini cups there when I was 13 then got a ride driving super latemodels for a guy the next year. It is a realy nice track except for the guard rail walls. It scares the crap out of me because I got turned one night in the feature and got hurt real bad because there was a bolt sticking out and my side bars of the cage cought it and pretty much dead stoped the car. That track is 1970's Winston cup old
He's smooth and patient thats the key factor in racing is patients. Ive been racing for the past 9 years and i never jump into a car i have never drivin before and went all out even if i raced in that series. No car ever handles the same, no matter if they are built side by side and can be called twins. Good luck Brandon, and no matter what you'l have good days and bad but its all in how you take that bad day and learn from it. Wrecks happen, but always watch a car ahead of the car infront of U!
@blavoie91 the car wasn't geared right or you where on a track big enough that it didn't matter. Hell trucks can run wide open on 3/4 of the tracks they race so that isn't saying much about anything for you.
looks like a good beginner track the way its banked, but alot of legends race's have tighter corner's and martinsville style banking, anyway nice run for the kid
@blavoie91 you mean you spun all the way around lol
