  • The video is more than 12 months old, it'd be sweet if we can see what same log looks like now. And where do i get the plugs from and what kind' log is that?

  • "mushrooms at the store" are almost always not fresh. Home grown and picked mushrooms are the freshest you can get them. Mushrooms are sorta like loquots or brewed coffee, where not long after being picked/made, the quality rapidly declines. If you were to pick a mushroom and cook and eat it within 30 minutes.... EPIC.

  • Will this log continue to produce mushrooms after the harvest or will a new log and new plugs have to be made.

  • @1013Andrew LMAOO

  • I would love to know where to get the spores for the plugs and see the log after the mushrooms have grown. Also, don't different mushrooms require different trees??

  • Awesome! I'm going to do this! Thanks!!!!

  • i wanna see the end product!!!

  • awsome. wish you had a speciman to show us what they look like when they fruit

  • I WANTED TO GET HIGH, not stuffed

  • if i have soaked the logs for a week and then seal the ends with beaswax how long till i need to soak them again? would it be reasonable to scrape the wax off the ends and reapply after soaking? should i leave the ends alone and soak every month?

  • Wow I never knew you could do this. Thank you so very much for the wonderful presentation. Could you tell us where to get the "pegs" you inserted in our log. Also do you have to buy them or will you produce some to start new logs?

  • I'm growing oyster mushrooms and read somewhere that they need a lot of oxygen to grow and that one should poke shafts into the substrate to facilitate oxygen preparation. Seems like there would be no gas exchange here. Am I comparing apples and oranges?
