Here we're tapping off the last of our Honey Harvest: nearly 60 pounds, more than a full bucket's worth. We had to fill up about 10 seperate jars and various honey containers first before we could resume filling the bucket--my bees cranked out a ton of honey this year, my first time beekeeping. What an amazing experience. The honey tastes minty, and its because of the large amounts of spearmint growing throughout our neighborhood--also dandelion, crab apple trees, and Russian Sage abound. It lends a decidedly flowery taste to your coffee or tea.
