Dude, I find that hard to believe, he was a sweetheart. I was the only one in a roadhouse while he was warming up about thirty years ago....did his little tap dance on the old plywood....asked me (I turned to see who the hell he was talking to..) "which sounds better, the sneakers, or the hard shoes..." Once I found my voice, I said, go with the hard shoes." I could have died then, my life was complete :)

well - i kind of got him to play an extra 20 min.s -he said the bar paid for a 35 min concert - the bar owner said it was for an hour - i got the crowd to stomp an encore
so load he couldn't refuse -but he wouldn't to to me anymore that night
i did shake his talent han 2 times
