Louiee.....from what I saw, the bird would best serve you as a bicycle horn! LOLOLOLOL (hey- some birds are meant to be zippers, some birds are meant to be dinner......No I wouldnt eat the bird......but......well.....give him time! or else "Thanksgiving 2008" you`ve got a snack!) :)

Aww little birdy, she looks so naked here. :( I would like to state for the record that Micah was an unhappy bird and plucked her feathers out in response before she came to my home a year ago. She doesn't pluck anymore, and has grown a little bit of down, but her follicles have been damaged and growth is very slow going. She looks like a little chicken. Aww. She's a happy bird, though. She's fully flighted and she has a happy life with people who treat her like a little princess. :)

Hiya, daughter here. Micah plucked her feathers for a year and a half before we got her, and it damaged the follicles enough that they haven't even grown back in the year we've had her. :( Some very weak down grows and then falls out. It's very sad. We have seen SOME improvement, but it's not dramatic. :( Luckily, though, she no longer plucks. Poor naked birdy, though.

That was so cool darlin'. Are ya birdy-sittin' for your daughter? Bet if you do that on a regular basis, it'll want a channel all its own. Looks like Micah is still pullin' out the feathers though. Too bad you couldn't make some kind of little jacket to keep it from doin that.
