@ChristopherSaindon thank you my friend, that's why all mma fighters train bjj, and Dan Severn was a top class wrestler too! and he outweighed Royce by 80lbs, but no match for Gracie Jiu-Jitsu

Gracie opened my eyes (lots of us from Tae Kwon Do and Karate -- which you still use but they're just the supporting cast) way back in the first UFCs. Watching this skinny kid from Brazil Royce Gracie -- we were STUNNED how he chewed through monsters -- even big ones like Dan Severn (spelling my be Sevren I forgot), and Shamrock who we ALL thought would kill Gracie based on his technique and size -- nope! He fought Dan S forEVER until he made one little mistake and that was IT. Beautiful.

lol, sorry for the insult, but it is like gay rape to me haha, any move the man did looks like he's going to sexually rape the other dude

@BroomeBlocker4 completely agree

@TheCoon2000 wow, all the ground work that is in BJJ is in judo too. BJJ is judo with a different scoring system. Combat Judo always makes BJJ look stupid, like I said, the brown belt judoka made the black belt BJJ guy(who the commentators were saying is one of the best BJJ guys at his weight in the world) look stupid both standing and on the ground. It is just olympic judo that hurt itself as it gives an ippon for any throw nowadays and so judokas don't train much groundwork
-
@BroomeBlocker4 how many mma fighters are there out there? i think far more train bjj than judo, and all the throws that are in judo are in bjj too! but there's very little ground work in judo, also with no gi fights judo is useless, so what happens when an mma fight goes to the ground? yes that's right the judo fighter gets clobbered! thank you!
-
@BroomeBlocker4 yes i know! i trained both! duh
-
@TheCoon2000 Really? There is quite a few more than 1 and no they don't all train BJJ. There was 3 judo guys on the Brock/Overeem card. Also the brown belt Judoka made the black belt BJJ guy look stupid, kind of a mute point really being as BJJ is just Judo that focuses on groundwork

@BroomeBlocker4 i competed in judo contests so i know what i'm talking about, we were allowed about 3 seconds on the ground and after that we were stood up, so where is all this ground work? when i trained judo it was mainly big fat heavy guys trying to pin you down and squash you, when i trained bjj we trained to finish the fight by choke or armbar etc,
