  • ahh now I look and see how, sigh, I should'a watched this before I butchered my case and then the die.. Beware the primmer steel tip if its bent, it don't bend back just snaps off. Oh well live n learn. Heaps of one shot lube no great force applied just a unlucky noob and a wonky sticky case. Thanks the post it worked well but the damage was done...

  • I just removed a stuck 5.7 x 28 case utilizing your method. I have been loading over 21 years, & this is only the second case I have ever stuck. The 5.7 has a coating that accumulates in the die, & can cause problems, if you aren't careful. Thanks for posting this, it saved me a trip to Missouri to pick up another die set.

  • I have a stuck case that no amount of striking with a punch and hammer will get it unstuck. So far all I have managed to do is smash the expander decap retainer into 3 pieces and bulge the primer housing out of the bottom of the case. any suggestions?

  • Thank you this worked great.

I was loading up some .223 last night and accidently raised a clean and tumbled case into the siziong die when I was going to prime with the safety prime. Needless to say it got stuck..

I was looking online for a stuck case remover when I ran across this video.

Just tried it and I got the case out in just a few seconds and now I'm back in action. Thanks again....

  • This worked great for me. I stuck two cases today on my first day of reloading (Ever). As mentioned by one of the previous comments, I didn't use enough One Shot case lube! Thanks!

  • your a life saver

  • They sell a stuck case remover. More or less you drill down the case from the top. Then you tap the hole and use this spacer and bolt to just pull it out. I did one today it worked great. I do not like how they are hitting the rod, but it looks to work. The case remover was $25.00 and less chance or messing up the die. That is what I think anyway.

  • Thanks. I was trying out Hornady One-Shot case lube and evidently I didn't use enough. Your method worked well.

  • I got one stuck this morning. I ruined my other resizing die two weeks ago.

  • yeah so do I except I have a RCBS die and I can't figure out how I'm going to get the stupid thing out! Any suggestions?!?
