Zenyatta dances at Keeneland, Mike Smith salutes her, Mr. and Mrs. Moss thank crowd 12/6/10 (2 of 4)

Zenyatta makes a circuit of the Keeneland (Lexington, Kentucky) covered walking ring, then stops and dances for the crowd. Heads crane forward in unison as she passes. She is followed by Mr. and Mrs. Moss and Mike Smith. At around the 4:00 point, Zenyatta turns to her owner and jockey in a kind of salute, and Mike doffs his Dick Tracy style hat in her honor.

Mr. and Mrs. Moss accept horse treats and Guinness Stout from Keeneland, and Mr. Moss thanks the crowd for coming out on this cold (17 degree), snowy Kentucky night. Zenyatta was paraded around this ring once before, as a yearling, just before she entered the auction ring and was sold to Mr. and Mrs. Moss. Now she is returning to a life as a broodmare at Lane's End farm.

Thank you so much for this, I can not look at her without crying. She is truly God sent and I know has helped so many people. I go to Lane's End daily to check on her and am looking forward to Little Z. Keep me informed if you hear anything, please and Merry Christmas to you and your family. Michele
