It's got strictly nothig to do with human rights, democracy, weapons of mass destruction or any of that sort of crap, that's just marketing for the public opinion. The strategy is just meant to prevent the Middle East from going independent.

and once he's done, you smash Iraq (1990), and then you destroy its economy embargoing and starving the country to death (1990-2003) and then you smash it one more time (2003). In the meanwhile, Iran has recovered from the war, so it needs to be smashed again, by invading or nuking it, or at least by assaulting its economy with sanctions and destablising the country by funding terror groups in Iran (on-going).

The big deal with Iran and Iraq is that they are two big, populous Middle Eastern countries with huge ressources so they should naturally become the leading countries in the region, and that is a threat US-Israeli hegemony. That's why the US has been appliying the policy called 'double containment': you unleash Saddam on Iran to punish the Iranians for having established an independent regime and to weaken Iran (1980-1988),

As for freedom of speech, it's interesting to see that the first that the US army did when it attacked Kabul ad Baghdad was to blow up Al Jazeera's offices and to murder journalists. In Iraq there are journalists who have been arrested and sent to Guantanamo just because they reported on US war crimes (!)

It's just cynical propaganda, the West has always been supporting dictatorship (including some of the worst mass murderers since Hitler, like Saddam Hussein, Pol Pot or Suharto) in the 3rd World, as long as the regime align with Western interests.

... without making any mention of the fact that they these are just politicians' claims, with no freaking evidence to back it!

And so most people are actually convinced that its true, its become common knowledge that Iran is developping nuclear and its really, completly appalling to see that the propapaganda campaign has a virtually 100% success rate (at last, in Westen countries)

The only ones who say Iran is developping nuclear weapons are Israeli and White House popagandists. I point this out cos im appalled at the way all the media routinely repeats that 'Iran is racing towards a nuclear bomb' and similar stuff, when there is no evidence for this! They just blindly repeat what the US and Israeli govt say.

There's strictly no evidence that the Iran is developping nuclear weapon. The Iranian govt's (and 90% of the Iranian population) line has always been that all weapons of mass destruction are haram in Islam. The international inspectors (btw, Iran accpets them!!) say they have never seen evidence of a weaponization program, and the CIA and the other US spy agencies think that *if* Iran ever had a weaponization program, then it was halted in 2002...
