I wanted to put the beer in a secondary fermenter for the next 5 days. I am hoping that it clears a bit. It really does taste good right now. Can't wait till the bottling is done and carbonation occurs. Just a few more weeks!

  • Ye Olde Ale Pail!

I've seen a recipe or two using that sludge to make bread, which might not be too bad actually.

    Thanks again for taping this.

  • @steen1973 I'm thinking this wont be my last one. No prob man. You gonna do it?

  • @berean73 Yes. Going to read up on it some and choose a kit. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Looks like it,s easier than making home made wine..my mom used to make some really easy..I have to ask her to show me this summer .

  • @berean73 sampled a bottle last sunday, needs more carbonation. Will sample this sunday, should be good. Andy says 3-4 weeks in the fridge does great for clearing it up and mellowing the flavors. I aim to be patient so it's most enjoyable. I'll send a bottle if it's good. Have a beer man critique it. Got a porter in the 2nd fermentor. Exciting stuff huh?
