  • Can the bird live of dog food?

  • Maybe, but probably not recommended. As an occasional treat it's fine. Birds are omnivores (like us) and can eat most foods - but as in the case of humans, a balanced diet is key.

  • That's a lab, right? labs are sweet hearted and mine was friends with my birds too!

  • my dog Bo was a mix - got him from the pound - a great dog, and lived to be over 14 years old but sadly died last year. It's sweet to see him here still putting up with George my Red-Fronted terror.

  • Is that a thick billed parrot? or a conure?

  • It's a red-fronted Macaw - the smallest of the large macaws- they come from Bolivia

  • actually dog food is good for parrots, in some bird food they actually include pieces of dog food for nutrition. :)

  • wow cool. my parrot is called bo. :) he's an african grey.

  • the dog doesn't mind because the bird will be dessert

  • my bird does the exact same thing l o l but he takes a bath in my dogs water bowl l o l
