actually dog food is good for parrots, in some bird food they actually include pieces of dog food for nutrition. :)

Maybe, but probably not recommended. As an occasional treat it's fine. Birds are omnivores (like us) and can eat most foods - but as in the case of humans, a balanced diet is key.

my dog Bo was a mix - got him from the pound - a great dog, and lived to be over 14 years old but sadly died last year. It's sweet to see him here still putting up with George my Red-Fronted terror.

It's a red-fronted Macaw - the smallest of the large macaws- they come from Bolivia
