@TheCodyburns Josh wrote this when he was in recovery I believe, and he's speaking about how hard it is to quit and how he really didn't want to. As the song progresses, he realizes that he'll be okay without it. He can make it without him and he'll be alright. So it's really a song about recovery, and that truly is touching. It also doesn't only apply to heroin. It can be any other addiction as well.
