Jeremiah accomplished remarkable things for poor people in South Chicago, he has also raised interesting questions on religious dogma in America...
Lately however, he got his moment of fame and made a clown of himself which only reveals Jeremiah's self centered personality. The only influence this man has on Obama is a negative effect on his campaign!
Soon, Americans will have quenched their thirst for the reverend and when McCain gets to it it will be old news.

Ethnographically speaking, where does the US end and Canada begin? Having visited Northern Minnesota, I can tell you that it is quite difficult to discern. Or What of Southern California and Mexico? What exactly is the commonality that makes an Appalachian Pentecostal, a Manhattan Orthodox Jew, and the Eugene Hippie "American"? Nationalism is a fraud. We are people, not "Americans". The sooner we realize this, the better.

History clearly demonstrates that when governments try to mix politics with religion, people's individual rights are trampled upon. They represent two different worlds; two different kinds of power.

Crazy Wright proves that too much religion will go to your head... maybe both the left and right brains.
It does not make Obama nuts, but he does need to keep him away from the kids with his spooky Bible stories.
