Bruce Springsteen - Reason to Believe (Milan 28-11-07)

A sample of my 2-cam mix Milan (28th Nov. 2007), using the 2 current DVDs as sources, dubbed with the audio recording by White Owl.

Many, many thanks to Marisa/DVDtree, Max and White Owl for filming, recording and uploading the originals.

DVD will be availible on ABMS within the next couple of days.

Why am I uploading this...? Well, despite the fact that it's a brilliant performance with undoubtedly the best audience of the tour and a song of which there is currently no high quality version on youtube, I also want your opinions of something.
Do you think I went a bit overboard by overlaying the screenshot onto the other footage? It was intended to be 'atmospheric', but I'm worried I might have got a little carried a way, I can't decide... opinions?

Bruce somehow finds a way to find a close part of life inside ourselves that is very meaningfull. Its nice to hear a song that says its ok to have a father who spent 18 yrs in louisiana pen for bootlegging way back before i was born and did the best he could once he got out and still made a go of it. One fathers day cops came knockin, alone in that whitewashed shotgun shack my old man passed away.

@AbsyntheLady ...wow,just loved your comment on Bruce...been a fan since 1980 & have been to all his shows in Ireland...but 300...my sweet jesus..you should be on the e-street band..awsome,well done to you..looking forward to seeing Bruce & the e-street boys,sadly minus the Big C,& Dan Federici...back in Dublin this coming July 2012...may you enjoy another 300 nights in the company of the GREATEST live performer on the planet...Slainte good lady..

@cassiusclaynyc - Thanks for your comment. I am glad to "meet" as it were, someone who really "got" and still "gets" what Bruce and the E-Street band, as well as other Musicians that have shared the stage with him. There really was, and hopefully will be more magical moments... Peace :-)
