  • Danny Thomas paid Norman homage by borrowing his name for Sheldon Leonard's character of "Phil Brokaw" {"Danny Williams'" agent} on "THE DANNY THOMAS SHOW". Irving and Norman Pincus brought "THE REAL McCOYS" to William Morris as a "package deal"; Norman handled it, but Morris' then-president Abe Lastfogel persuaded Danny Thomas to "invest" in it [his "Marterto" company became a partner in the series, with the Pincuses and star Walter Brennan].
