I have worked on tower lights for almost 15 years and I must say this day was one of the most interesting. It takes a while to get real good, so give it time. I know the lens needed to be cleaned in a few shots! See Part 2, it gets better.

  • 2 and 1/2 hours? where did the elevator stop? I saw the rails for it and what work were you doing? Guessing you were changing beacon lights.

  • Nice video. I drive by that tower almost everyday. I climbed the 1200' channel 4 tower in Vidor TX several times, but I haven't been lucky enough to get a "free" elevator ride yet. lol
