I love Clopin but I don't like how much of a mechanism for good he is here. I prefer him being morally ambiguous.

Clopin <3 <3 love when he takes the money.

I keep seeing people saying in the comments that is either Alan Menken singing or is Paul Kendel without is Clopin accent....this sound exactly like Clopin to me, what do you mean without Clopin's accent?

I love this song, even if it wouldn't fit into movie. This song corespondes to book in which clopin dropped a vase and when it broke into 7 pieces it was seatled that Esmeralda's and Greguare's (the poet in orginal novel) will last 7 years.

No, no, no. Something more romantic to set the mood.
What is he? Sebastian?
I'm finding that a lot of the cut song seem reminiscent of earlier Disney movies.
-
Am I alone in thinking that Disney should release a CD set devoted solely to deleted songs?
-
XD This song somehow reminds me of Kiss the Girl from The Little Mermaid.

Esmeralda looked so beautiful in her wedding outfit.

@LadySpellcaster Nope, it is Alan Menkin's voice. It is the Alan Menken Demo.

The directors are right, it would not make sense in the movie, but it's still a lovely song none the less. Oh, how I wish I could hear Paul Kandel sing this. It sounds funny hearing Alan Menkin trying to imitate his voice. O_o
I know what you mean! I'd give ANYTHING to see CLopin get mroe screentime! and this would've been PERFECT for him! but it doesn't fit the rest of the film!*sobs*

Beautiful song, but it takes too much away from the story and why Quasi and Phoebus even went to the Court of Miracles in the first place. It'd be like, this scene, and then, "Oh, by the way, Frollo's coming guys, we better escape." I love it though, anything to give Clopin more singing time... but Paul Kandel isn't singing here, its Alan Menken, so I guess its a good thing Paul Kandel didn't waste his beautiful voice for nothing.
