To vir123456: Yes I served in the USMC 1978 - 1982 To misadiegolo : The part of the video with Bush shows that they were in a relaxed atmosphere. perhaps a USO event ? ( Note, that Bush was wearing a short sleeve shirt.) With Obama it was a formal setting, and "Hail to Chief " was playing,when he entered, not so when Bush entered. More importantly, without knowing the context of the speeches , one cannot make an informed opinion. Semper Fidelis

Everyone thinks that if we don't like Obama then we are racist. Does that mean those who didn't like Bush are racist? I get tired of the double standard. I am not racist, and I don't like Obama and it's NOT b/c he's black.

LOL sure the Marines cheered Baby Bush as it was a relaxed and Bush style bullshit photo op. Obama was giving a major policy speech and the Marines were at ATTENTION for their Commander in Chief. How come you didn't post the video of Obama playing Bball with the soldiers and Marines in Iraq where they mobbed around him and showed great support??? HUH?? HUHHHHHH?

That is the difference. Why are they "AT EASE" with Bush? Why are they "At ATTENTION" with Obama?
The current Commander in Chief should not require the troops the adulation of standing at attention. He is afraid of how he will be received. He should rather leave it up to the Marine/Soldier/Airman/Seaman, like Bush.
They obey the orders of those appointed above them. When President Bush was CIC its at ease, When CIC Obama it's stand at attention.
