i didnt get them to save weight. the ledges here dont slide for anything and i hate gettin hung up smiths so i use it up front so i can slide and not get tossed every time i try to tooth or smith.

how thick would you say the metal insert is? in terms of axle coverage? cause Ive cut my axles a little on either side.
