Sonic Adventure DX - Emerald Coast Single Attempt Speedrun (1:26)

This is a 1-attempt, no-glitch, no big sequence breaking speedrun! (Climbing the mountain could be argued with, I suppose, though I mostly meant just spindash jumping over huge sea parts as shortcut) For all my conditions, I feel like I've done pretty awesomely, and been much a lucky bastard by not getting screwed up by the camera in alot of parts. Of course, this does have some serious skill flaws a true speedrunner could beat me with, but then again, gimme a break. I did this in a single recording attempt, having 1 little practice run to get the hang of things beforehand.

Why did I get to the idea of making this? Well, I DIDN't! I was so dumb I forgot to read my own rules(Check the Sonic Race ~ Participate NOW! Video) and I ran through this stage instead of Red Mountain. But the result turned out nice, and I didn't wanna throw it away.

This prooves that Sonic Unleashed would have been an awesome 5/5 game if they'd just replace the werehog with the ability to spin-dash like a maniac.

@suecra13 Hahaha, I would've loved to see a spindash in Sonic Unleashed, even if it would've been pretty useless in gameplay. I think what SEGA did with the spindash in the game was the best they could've done with it. The ability to stand up after spindashing without losing speed, AND do a spindash while running and actually gaining a speedboost from it. It was perfect.

Though spindashing rapidly looks kinda stupid, and I wish that wasn't the perfect tactic sometimes.

anyway i wanted to make a vid with audio but the audio was not working in my mic...saddly so plz make at least one last vid of sonic robo blast 2....for the fan.....for everyone to see....ill try to think of some new characters 4 u if u want...(i think im bad at that anyway...i need insporation ^3^) so yeah if u need insporation just pm me o and i subed haha

@Lionel10102006 It's not me never having any ideas, it's SRB2 2.0 having no good new possibilities, and it removed more good for me than it added. Heck, I even had to mod 1.09.4 to implant an idea for characters, and 1.09.4 was SRB2's golden time for character customization. I need SRB2 to have some material that I can use for something great.

1.09.4 set the stage to be more in the favor of customizing anything. 2.0 was more in the favor of balance and typical oldstyle Sonic and party gameplay.

@Lionel10102006 Nah. I just reached nearly everything I ever wanted to do with SRB2, like a dream fulfilled. And SRB2 2.0 doesn't give me any inspiration to do anything fun besides make typical stage gimmicks. I already made the biggest stage ever done in SRB2 with tons of features, I already made SMSblast, I've played with lots of friends SRB2, I even became freaking famous for my simple goaled wads. It's all downhill for me in SRB2 2.0.

I'll go again as soon as SRB2 2.0 shows any inspiration.

well i just found out that smsunleashed has a super form....how i found that out..........i used supermonitor.wad....anyway i was wondering if u could make a video of smsunleashed's super form.....(or hyper form...i dont know)....no one has ever made a vid with him and i wanted to make one about him with aduio if u want i could get supermonitor.wadfor u......but saddly the website to it is in maennince (porden me for the spelling)...ZOMG running out of space uhhhh ill type another comment ^3^
