Aerosolarabic feedthepoor mural

A mural created in Sparkhill, Birmingham, UK, with a message of Feed the Poor. Artist Mohammed Ali created this huge message, on the walls of the Aldi Car Park, as a reminder to the people of feeding the poor. He worked with the charity organisation, also known as Feed the Poor - ISRA.

THe wall initially faced objection from Aldi supermarket themselves, but eventually they backed down.

this is right down the street from my house and so is the dhikr (rememberance) mural :D they're NICE in person

the mural's kewl i see it nearly every day and it certainly gives me something to think about on my journey, deffo stands out on stratford road even with all the sweet/clothes shops lol

this man is doing great for the world.

spreading the word of islam, he's done his part by the people & now its in allah's hands to protect it, & of course, inshallah he protects it for us!! of course allah swt feeds the poor, the same way he feeds us...

but when your walkin past a war with a message, a reminder...then why not.

you think bout what u say instead of critising great art with a great purpose =)

I see this message everyday on the Number 6 bus lol... I thought some freelancers probably did this, but respect to you Mohammad ali, great piece of work which always gives us a reminder and makes us think, keep up the beautiful work man, inshallah may allah (swt) reward you, good to see the sparkhill community close and very comfortabale with the clash of culture =D
