No one's made a guide on how to make a JSON type file.
I've been confused. I've done the basics with the icon, popup.html but when I try to load the unpacked extension, it says the manifest file does not exist.

@PrmeHntr How did you create the manifest.json file? - Make sure you saved it using the name "manifest.json" with "All Files" selected, otherwise Windows may save the file as "manifest.json.txt" and just hide the .txt extension.

Well, ok I have a toolbar for IE, is there a way I can turn it into a Chrome Extension?
AllBonJoviMusic 7 months ago
@AllBonJoviMusic As far as I'm aware there is no way to "convert" an IE toolbar to a chrome extension directly, you would have to rebuild it or find an extension that does the same job as the toolbar in the Chrome Web Store.

@gigo221 I can't remember any specific tutorial but I found lots of information related to making extensions on google. As far as animations go, have a look at using jQuery - It provides lots of nice effects such as sliding/fading as well as many useful functions that can help you perform complex tasks with only a few lines of code.
