Facial expression has shit all to do with how good a piece sounds.
The whole Idea of music is that it's audio, not cinematography. You should be able to recognise emotion through the expression in his playing, the accenting, rhythm, timing, dynamics etc. of the notes.
You clearly don't understand this and never will appreciate music until you do. Until then, you'll idolise posers, who pull faces instead of musicians who play music.
