iphone voicemail

so i bought a 3G on craigslist brand new unopened sealed box, then i used winpwn to jailbreak and activate it , popped in a new tmobile sim card juss for the hell of it(since i kno it cant be unlocked yet unless yessim/turbo sim etc)...today, i popped in my old tmobile sim juss to import the contacts and when i did, i have a new voicemail! but it still no reception/no service....dunno if its important to post, but i thought i'd share it with you...heres a video

gotta love that buff theme but i have the same problem its just that the sim gives the phone a new voicemail notification i just put my old tmobile sim into a sidekick and it had no reception but a voicemail notification

hi, i had a quick question. i would like to purchase an iphone 3g that is still sealed like urs was. i do not have at&t, i have tmobile. will i be able to jailbreak it even though it is not activated or will i need an at&t sim card to make it work with the jailbreak? thanks
