I bought this game pretty randomly too like, "look, 2d graphics and real time combat RPG, looks cool". If was a good pick up, but I stopped played it cause it got REALLY hard and I just kind of gradually stopped. Not that I didn't like it, someday I'll start it again.

I knew quite a few people who got like that and dislike the game for it. It's certainly not for everyone. Since I MMO, I get used to repetition, and I can deal with the difficulty lol.

This game took me by surprise as well. I didn't know what to expect, and pretty much bought it on a whim when I discovered it was 2D. It's excellent! And has great music, to boot.

Okey first of all this game is over rated. Second the game isnt that good either, it has beautiful graphics and kinda good music but thats it... Nothing more.

Have the same situation going on as well. I fear I may never beat it. It's a shame because the story, artistic design, and gameplay are all wonderful.

I was going through wal-mart games online for my christmas wishlist and came across a few this one, I only picked games with cool covers >> Odin Sphere I looked at and noticed it was 2D not anywhere near what I've played before but I was hooked and it's one of my favorite games and I adore this song so much, orchestral version is what I listen to more though for the calming effect.

I loved Cornelius though. He's like Yoda on acid. I couldn't get something to kill me throughout his entire story.
