Louise, my mom, plays a small sample of her boogie woogie music on the Hammond B3 Organ recorded in September 2009. She played by ear all her life but sadly passed away on Mon Nov 15, 2010. Her musical talent and zest for life will be remembered by all who knew her. Enjoy this wonderful tribute to Louise.

  • I am so sorry Nancy, Its Jim and Melissa Lewis. Melissa worked with her. We would try and visit her every once in a while. I thought about it after I commented that my name wouldnt show up, sorry. I am surprised she let you video her. I always had to be sneaky about it... Hope all is well with you. Take care and God Bless

  • @ctfshlvr Oh! Yes...I remember you both and how much mom enjoyed your visits :) And yes...I did have to be kinda sneaky about filming mom. She wasn't one for the limelight you know! We miss her so very much. It's wonderful to have her on YouTube like this. Stop by often and listen to these little tunes I have posted. Mom is no doubt floating on a cloud, playing for the angels, and keeping track of her YouTube video hits! :)

  • We miss her soooo much. We always enjoyed going to her house and listening her play. She was a true gem!!

  • @ctfshlvr Not sure who you are! But thank you for the nice comment. We miss mom so much. She truly was one of a kind. I have her electronic piano at my home now and can hear her play with more than 100 songs she recorded over the years. It's like she is here with me...

  • My God.......This is so cool. Talk about a hidden gem!!

  • @Poppypoo1 Thank you sooo much! You made my day! :)

  • @brandonelliot My apologies, I didn't expand the description... My condolences! What a wonderful talent!

  • Can you play some shoutin music?!

  • @nancy20507 My Dad is the same, he wants everyone to know that it's a B3 with Leslie, and NOTHING else. As far as he's concerned (and many others) there IS nothing else... There's Hammond B3 and "the rest of'em"

  • @nancy20507 My Dad has always LOVED his Hammond B3. I'm happy to see others that see the greatness of this instrument. Your Mom plays great! You can tell that she's played this "once or twice" :} God bless her.
