Dead on! Penalize the scumbag parents and maybe dads would give a car and moms would close their legs.
The "root" of the truancy is slut moms and whore-master dads. It's not complicated but it is PC.

I have said this before and I will say it again. PARENTS for the most part dont give a shit about there kids. The public dont either for that matter. If the Parents would be punished for what the kids do, then they might give a shit.

I bet if the parents were held accountable they would find away for the kids to behave and not skip, respect others privet property, not bully other kids and a hole lot more .
A fine is to easy. A long boring work sentence, like scrubbing the parking lot with tooth brush for 40 or 80 hrs. for both mom and dad right along side the kid.
