this performance was autotuned - listen to note 2:21 for example; it sounds like she's gurgling

Does any one know what year this was?

The Title is I Know Him So Well

I'm not entirely sure that either performer comes out of this smelling of roses. However, I'd say that Dickson just slightly, ever so slightly, edges it.

Sad but true - like so many other 'famous' duets, it never actually happened at the same time in the studio.

Not true. Barbara Dickson has never sounded better. I saw her in concert last week in London. She was sublime.

Let's be honest they both don't have the range and belt they had in the 80's - but sadly that's age and the passage of time to blame :-(

To everyone,
The original recording was made without Ms. Paige and Ms. Dickson ever meeting. Both artists laid down their vocals separately and they were joined by audio engineers in a studio. Also, Barbara Dickson's background is as a folk singer, whereas Elaine Paige is a musical theater performer. Both genres require a different skill set. The combination however, is truly magical!
