Nick-(shrugs)
Selena-(walks over to the ocean) you're right (turns around) the ocean is better at night
Nick-(smiles)
Selena-(walks over to him) even if it is freezing
Nick-you're still cold?
Selena-i'm talking about you
Nick-i'm fine
Selena-(grabs his hand) your hand begs to differ
Nick-(chuckles)
Selena-(takes off his jacket and gives it back to him)
Nick-i'm fine selena
Selena-it's ok, i have a jacket anyway, i'll be good (sits down on the sand)
Nick-(looks at her for a bit) (sits down next to her and puts the jacket around her shoulders) i'm fine
Selena-(rolls her eyes) men and their pride, just don't be whining when you're sick
Nick-like i said, i'll be fine
Selena-(sighs) fine
(5 MINUTES LATER)
Selena-(looking at the ocean)
Nick-(looks at her) what are you thinking about?
Selena-(looks at him) (smirks) nosy much?
Nick-(chuckles)
Selena-(half-smiles and looks back at the ocean) if you must know...i was just thinking about, life...
Nick-life?
Selena-(nods)
Nick-are you disappointed with it?
Selena-i just don't know how i ended up here
Nick-(looking at her)
Selena-i was never like this...i was a nice girl, with a big heart, but life came and fucked with me
Nick-Sel-
Selena-don't bother...i'm used to it, you know feeling like this
Nick-feeling what?
Selena-feeling nothing (looks at him)
Nick-that's not true...we both know you have feeling, you'd rather not show them...but I'll remind you I was there the night you were crying because of Logan
Selena-that was just a moment of relapse
Nick-you have feelings...everyone does
Selena-(rolls her eyes)
Nick-you don't have to pretend with me
Selena-curse the day I decided to cry in front of you (half-smiles)
Nick-(chuckles) (puts an arm around her shoulder and pulls her closer)
Selena-let me guess...you're cold
Nick-maybe just a little
Selena-(laughs) just take your jacket back
Nick-no, i'm trying to be a gentleman for once
Selena-this isn't a date, you don't have to
Nick-(sarcastic) what can I say? you bring out the best in me
Selena-(laughs) you're so lame
Nick-(chuckles)
Selena-(gets in closer with Nick)
Nick-seems like you're still cold
Selena-well since you're giving free hugs, why not take full advantage? Besides body heat is definately the best way to keep warm
Nick-body heat? (smirks)
Selena-(pulls away and looks at him) don't get too excited (smiles)
Nick-(laughs) i'm kidding
Selena-better be (grabs his arm and puts it around her again)
Nick-(tightens his grip)
Selena-thanx Nick
Nick-for?
Selena-being a suprisingly good friend
Nick-(smiles) anytime
(FEW HRS LATER)
Nick-(pulls over in front of Selena's house) (yawns)
Selena-(looks at him) are you sure you can drive back?
Nick-yeah, as long as i put some music (half-smiles)
Selena-really? because i had punch you a few times to wake up while you were driving me home
Nick-(chuckles and yawns) i'll be fine, maybe if i just rest my eyes for a few minutes right here (leans back on his chair and closes his eyes)
Selena-(rolls her eyes) Nick
Nick-(asleep)
Selena-Nick? (punches him lightly)
Nick-(wakes up) huh?
Selena-you're too sleepy to drive
Nick-(rolls his eyes) i'll be fine
Selena-no, why don't you just spend the night here
Nick-i'll be okay, don't worry
Selena-Nick seriously, just come inside...i would hate to get the call in the morning saying that you're in the hospital
Nick-(chuckles) aw you care about me (smirks)
Selena-shut up (gets out of the car) c'mon it's cold (closes the door) (walks over to her house)
Nick-(turns off the engine) (gets out of the car and closes the door) (walks over to selena)
Selena-(unlocks the house and walks in)
Nick-(follows her inside) (closes the door and locks it) i thought you didn't like when guys spent the night with you?
Selena-you're not going to spend the night with me...You're just spending it in my house in the GUESTROOM (gives him a look)
Nick-(chuckles)
Selena-anyway sorry i don't really have any clothes i can lend you
Nick-(half-smiles) it's fine, good night (walks upstairs)
Selena-(half-smiles)
