WECT-TV 6, Wilmington NC Sign-off from Summer 1989

A late 1980s sign-off of Wilmington's NBC affiliate station. It is preceded by the historical featurette, "Carolina Sampler", hosted by WECT's long time news anchor, the late Ken Murphy. Because of YouTube's policies concerning copyrighted content, I'm unable to include the wonderful National Anthem video featuring Americans of all stripes saluting the flag (I posted this here a couple of years ago and YouTube disabled the audio). hey im from lumberton its near wilmington i use to love watchin these old sign offs on wect they were neat and had a history lesson before the signoffs and they were better than the new stuff if u can plz see if u have anymore wect signoffs if you do plz post i will watch them all btw do u have any of the signoffs with the wect logo in different positions with a painting in the background it was during the 1990-1996 timelines but if u have plz post thnk u sooo much for these :)
