When most women gaze in the mirror, they may bemoan a blemish here or a wrinkle there. Imagine staring at your reflection for over two hours and hating your face so much that you never leave the house. These guests say they are prisoners to body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), a preoccupation with a real or imagined physical defect.

  • I have BDD and I dont think that last girl has BDD, Ive been in my house for almost 3 years now. I will get up the courage to go out once in a while, and sometimes even forget about the way I feel about myself and have a good time. But when I step back into my house and look in the mirror, I am back to square one. I cant seem to jump out of this. I have a fraternal twin who has always been the prettiest, skinniest, and smartest. I will always be the ugly duckling. I wish I didnt feel this way.

  • I think this ''Body Dysmorphia'' is complete bullshit.I think it's just people who get insucure abouit like eveybody does.

  • @VasKocka

    thank you <3

  • @JohnJancar it's like ocd..(flipping lightswitches 8 times, tapping walls) we know that it's silly to focus so much on our looks... but with society the way it is constantly photoshopping everything and focusing on looks.. it's hard not to rationalize it as semi-normal.and the more we focus.. the more obsessed we become...

    the more we become obsessed... the more it becomes the foundation of who we are in the world..

    in our mind

    ugly = worthless

    and looking good = everything

    and we see ugly....

  • @DataSe7en I'm right there with you

    I know exactly what you're going through

  • @staceaboo you're typical person who is ugly... on the inside.. and possibly on the outside as well

  • The last girl seems to have been habituated to think looks are everything. Yes, her

    self-esteem is wrapped up in it. She has erased all the other aspects of her life and concentrated only on looks. Maybe that's why she needs the reassurance that she is pretty so that she can feel purpose in life. However, after seeing her on the ramp, exposing herself, I feel that it's more of a histrionic personality disorder aka attention seeking. A person with BDS will not expose themself like that.

  • I don't like how he used the first girl to portray a failed life to the blonde girl. 2:48.

    Look at the poor girl react 3:03. It's seem like she disliked being put in the limelight like that: a devolved, noncontributing human being. She was obviously tapping her foot or something in reaction to it.

  • i would totally pay for sex with this chick......
