  • ...or rather, I should rephrase that:

Why should TG people go through more effort to look more STEREOTYPICALLY like their gender... that is, fancy makeup & hair for girls, baggy jeans and facial hair for guys.

That's like someone saying, "pay the price for the choice you made - if you're such a girl, wear some makeup and look like a whore!" (even though it isn't choice) closed-minded people of course would think that.

  • Wow, you make so many good points! I never thought that people would even say something like that. Why would every TG female necessarily do hair and makeup just because they feel they are female? Just like natural-born females! (i.e. myself) I put makeup on maybe a few times a year and I don't do my hair except for special occasions; that doesn't make me a wannabe man or a fake woman. :S Why should TG people go through more effort to look the gender they feel they are? Who cares!

  • tgirls are beautiful

  • That was a powerful delivery that needed airing. Some, like me, find the natural look far more attractive than what is often perceived as a fashionable look. A persons spirit, self assurance and other strengths are what's really important and can make other physical appearances pale into insignificance.

  • You're amazing and brave. Rock on :-)

  • Whoever made that rude comment about you, they needs to get a life. They're just insecure a because they are lesser of woman then you are. Keep doing what you do.

  • you go girl! to thine own self be true :)

  • Very well-said. This may be irrelevant, by the way, but I happen to think that you don't need any makeup, or hair"dos". You look beautiful without it, dear. Excellent video.

  • The way I always looked at other trans women was that I can respect anyone minus the few who act perverted and dress extremely disgusting to disgrace the rest of us in public. Other than that, as a trans woman myself, I know that I have always been respectful to others who take GID as seriously as myself. I just never appreciated feeling mocked by the ones who Ive mentioned above. You're great Aire and you just have to ignore whoever wrote that babble to you because they are clueless.

  • Yay Aire ^^
