  • Benny Taupin!... lets not forget the man who wrote the lyrics.

  • early 70s was when he was at his best!

  • my favorite among all his songs..

  • elton john and billy joel together is something more than perfect.

    Golden shower

  • elton john's voice has really gone through some interesting stages. its amazing how he lost the falsetto and settled into a lower, rougher timbre, and yet his 'new' voice in some ways is even better than his old. this is a cool video.

  • elton joel!

  • yellow brick road signifies the music industry. the guy is obviously feeling trapped by the two faced greedy music executives that lurk in the music industry ( where the dogs of society howl)

  • What does "yellow brick road" symbolize in this song?

  • I never got into those costumes, get-ups, and funky large glasses, but that was his thing. I did love his music though and was a HUGE fan of that...for a long while that's all me and my sister and brother would play all day long (the earlier stuff before 'Best of the Westies' came out).
